Villains are just about a part of Korean dramas as a love triangles are. Some of these villains are so bad that they haunt our nightmares. Some of them even pretends to be good and nice, only to later show us their true selves. here are 10 of the most scary Korean drama villains.
1. Namkoong Min as Chef Kwon Jae (Girl Who Sees Smells) 2015

For me, seeing actor Namkoong Min in this role just after seeing him in Beautiful Gong Shim was a bit scary and unsettling for me. Chef Kwon Jae is a calm, selfless man on the outside but get to know him, i assure you, you will run the other way if you ever meet the other side of him. I mean, the guy has a secret murder dungeon.
2. Choi Tae-joon as Choi Tae-ho(Missing 9) 2017

If you are ever stuck on an island, make sure it’s not with Choi Tae-ho. He killed to keep his secret and he will kill anyone that gets in his way. And the face that he has a sweet face doesn’t help the matter.
3. Kim Eui-sung as Han Sang-hoon (W : Two Worlds) 2016.

He’s crazy, unhinged and you never really know what he’ll do next. When we first met Han Sang-hoon, he was there for one purpose only, to kill. And the fact that he doesn’t have his own identity, makes him even more worse.
4. Jung Woong-in as Min Joon-gook (I Can Hear Your Voice) 2013

Min Joon-gook is as bad as they come. The first time we saw him, he was covered in blood and that smug look he has on his face did not help.
5. Kwon Yul as Joo Hye-sung (Hey Ghost, Let’s Fight) 2016

Joo Hye-sung is a young veterinary medicine professor and he’s so well liked by everyone. He’s loved by everyone until he strangled kittens oh and let’s not forget that he let a ghost possess him.
6. Lee Sung-jae as Oh Yeong-cheol (Abyss) 2019

Oh Yeong-cheol is a skilled surgeon who is referred to as a legend in the medical community but unknown to everyone, he’s a serial killer. He kills anyone that gets too close and anyone he deems to be a threat. He’s someone that’s meant to be saving lives but taking them instead.
7. Jin Kyung as Song Cha-ok (Pinocchio) 2014

Song Cha-ok is a cold, merciless woman who chose to abandon her family for her career and she likes to adjust and pad the news in other to make herself look good and get ahead. Even if that means destroying families and lives.
8. Oh Man-seok as Cho Cheol-gang (Crash Landing On You) 2020

Cho Cheol-gang is a member of the North Korean Armed Forces’ Security Bureau. He is corrupt, killed our protagonist brother, drunk on power and hell bent on revealing the south Korean living among them. He even went as far as following them to south Korea.
9. David Lee McInnis as David Argus (Descendants Of The Sun) 2016

David Argus former Delta Force Captain who turn war criminal. Looking to make money any way, any how.
10. Song Yoon-ah as Choi Yoo-jin (The K2) 2016

Choi Yoo-jin is the eldest daughter of a chaebol family. Ambitious yet merciless, her corrupted nature is due to the result of her upbringing and has her sights set on becoming the First Lady. She’s manipulative and will do anything to get what she wants.
