Do not underestimate the love of a mother for her child. This episode is dedicated to mothers who will move heaven and earth for their kids.
Chief Yeom dragged Won-Hyung into a warehouse and tried to talk some sense into him about what he’s doing. It looked like father and son reconciled and on a good path. Kang-bae was moving trolleys at work when he saw a ghost. The Ghost disappeared as soon as Yeo-rin showed up. They both admitted to each other that it was their first kiss individually before things got awkward between them again.
Wol-joo and Chief Gwi came across the fake shaman from the last episode while he was trying to scam a lady. Wol-joo told the lady the truth and the shaman asked for their help opening his spiritual eyes. When Wol-joo and Chief Gwi got to the door to the spirit world, they found it locked. They went to the administration for help. They were told that no one can open it, except for the guys upstairs because someone came in and not only locked it, they managed to weld it shut. Wol-joo remembered that she was the one that locked it. She was trying to help a mother who doesn’t want her son to become a monk. They came back feeling lost and worried about Kang-bae, since they promised to close the door that lets him hear people’s thoughts.
Wol-joo and Chief Gwi showed Chief Yeom the contract Kang-bae signed with them and explained he’s their striker. Chief Gwi doesn’t understand what a striker is, considering he’s been on earth for five hundred years. Wol-joo went to see Samsin about a solution to the Kang-bae problem. Samsin told her that since Kang-bae is covered in the Yin energy, the only one that can help him is someone that’s pure Yang energy. She said the only person that can do that is someone who is the reincarnation of Cinnabar but she refused to tell Wol-joo who that is.

Kang-bae brought in their new client. A woman called Hyeon-ok. She’s been looking for her long lost son for the past fifteen years. His name is Park Jun-u. He was seven years when he went missing from the home he shared with his mother. She told them that she left him alone at home to go to work on the day he went missing. When she got home, she couldn’t find him and his dinner was left untouched and had been looking for him since. She also told them of a man that kept asking her out but she always refuse, telling him that the only time she has in her life are for work and her son. The man’s name is Sang-cheol.
Although the police questioned Sang-cheol, he had an ironclad alibi but he moved away and cut off contact shortly after that. Chief Yeom heard everything and seemed a bit too interested. He found out Sang-cheol’s address from Chief Gwi and left.
The trio went to Sang-cheol’s house but before they got there, he had been beaten to an inch of his life and told him he doesn’t want him to tell anyone where Jun-u is. Wol-joo and Chief Gwi got there in time and went into his dream before he died and found out that Sang-cheol had hit jun-u’s head and carried the unconscious boy to an orphanage and left him there.

Kang-bae saw another ghost at work but Chief Yeom showed up at the right time to get rid of it. The two talked about Kang-bae’s ability and Chief Yeom asked him if he can really trust wol-joo and Chief Gwi? Since his ability doesn’t work on them. Kang-bae tells him that he trusts them. Wol-joo got a call from the orphanage saying they found jun-u. He’s in the states but he’s coming back to Korea.
They talked about Kang-bae’s issue. Chief Gwi thinks they should tell him right now but Wol-joo think they should wait. She said she’ll talk to Samsin again and try to get her to talk. Kang-bae heard everything and got angry that they’ve both been lying to him and he stormed out. Chief Gwi went to talk to Kang-bae and Kang-bae told him that all his life, everyone called him the cursed boy. No one wanted him. Even his parents left him and all the potential adoptive parents never panned out and he was happy when he found them.
Jun-u returned to Korea but had to go straight to the hospital due to kidney failure. Wol-joo took his mother to visit him and they had their reunion.

Samsin visited Kang-bae at work and told him that Wol-joo signed a contract that means she will never be reincarnated and going to hell just so she can find out the solution to kang-bae’s problem. She also told him that when it comes to kids, Wol-joo always takes it to heart because she was pregnant when she killed herself and she’s taking the punishment her unborn baby was meant to get. After hearing this, Kang-bae went to Wol-joo and tells her that he can live with his ability but he can’t live with her not getting reincarnated. She tells him it’s ok. She doesn’t wanna get reincarnated anyway but he can help her settle the rest of the grudges and go get some eggs.
Chief Gwi talked to Chief Yeom about finding Sang-cheol half dead and wondered if it was the evil spirit that’s wandering around that did it. Chief Yeom promised to look into it. Getting suspicious, Chief Gwi asked him why he was’t eating noodles like he always does every time? He replied by mumbling before saying he already had some.
Chief Gwi and Kang-bae was walking and talking about Hyeon-Ok and her son when suddenly a woman came up behind them and said ‘i finally get to meet you, Your royal highness. Hearing this, both men looked back.
That’s where the episode ended. The love of a mother for her child is immeasurable. She looked for her son for fifteen years. Never giving up. After watching this episode, i picked up the pone and called my mom. If you are a mother reading this, you are doing a great job and you are appreciated. UNTIL NEXT WEEK…….
