Wol-joo and Guibanjang chase after a wayward spirit who has a problem moving on. Kang-bae asks Yeo-rin to be his dance partner for a dance contest.
Kang-bae unwillingly entered a dance contest at the supermarket and because of his ability, the only person he can partner with was Yeo-rin but she turned him down. Wol-joo and Guibanjang went for a workout in the park and chief Yeom asked for their help catching a wayward spirit that’s refusing to move on. Because it will be an easy soul if she catches the spirit, Wol-joo agreed.
we met a man named Oh Sang-gun and his wife visiting someone at the columbarium. After they left, he gave his wife the car key and took the bus to work. Guibanjang started following him hoping that the wayward spirit will show up. He followed him to the supermarket where the cashier told Guibanjang that Oh Sang-gun hadn’t been the same since the funeral.
As Oh Sang-gun was going home that night, he came across the mystic bar. He noticed they were serving dumplings and decided to go inside. He mentioned that he loves his wife’s dumplings and that she makes the best shrimp dumplings. In order to make him talk about his deepest desires, Kang-bae touched him but nothing happened. This surprised the trio and they decided to check his house, maybe that’s where the spirit is. Guibanjang, pretending to be from the gas company, visited him at home but to his surprise, found nothing.
Wol-joo and Guibanjang decided to put Sang-gun under more surveillance and followed him on the bus. When they got to his stop, he didn’t get down. As they were wondering why he didn’t get off at his stop, a man possessed with an evil spirit got of the bus but quickly got off the bus and ran. Thinking he is the spirit they were looking for, the two gave chase. When the spirit was captured, Guibanjang threw his flaming weapon at him and he turned into a marble.
Realizing that they’ve got the wrong spirit, Wol-joo went to Sang-gun’s office and found he still wasn’t there. He came in a little after, saying he missed his stop on the bus. As he was going into a meeting, Wol-joo noticed a dark shadow following him and ran after it. She tried to persuade the spirit to come with her by telling the spirit she knows how it feels to leave behind someone you love. Before she could grab the spirit’s hand, she was forced out of the building.
Yeo-rin and Kang-bae bonded after standing up for injustice in a restaurant. When Sang-gun got home that night, he couldn’t seem to remember his door pass code and had to be let in by his wife. Once again, the dark, cloudy spirit showed up at his house. Frustrated that she wasn’t able to bring the spirit in earlier, Wol-joo and Guibanjang went to a restaurant for a drink. Wol-joo talked about understanding how the spirit feels. Leaving the ones you loved behind is really tough for the dead and Guibanjang said the ones that are left behind had it worse.
Kang-bae joined them and told them of his frustration that Yeo-rin still hadn’t agreed to be his dance partner. Guibanjang told him that he shouldn’t tell her that he needs her, he should tell her he wants to be someone she needs. Flashback to the past and this was exactly the same thing the crown prince said to Wol-joo when she was still alive.
The next morning, Sang-gun went to work but seemed to have forgotten that he had a meeting with some Chinese investors that day. His boss called him into his office and told him that they are planning on firing him and it will be best if he takes an early retirement. Even tho he was reluctant, he admitted he had been forgetting things lately to which his boss said everyone knew it had been had on him since his wife died. He ran out of the office and everything started coming back to him. The fact that doctors had told him he has vascular dementia and the fact that his wife had died in a car accident after they visited the columbarium. The cloud finally clear from the spirit and it was revealed that his wife was the one following him.
After her spirit left the house, she met Guibanjang outside the how and he took her to the bar. When they asked her why she was hanging around? She said she just wanted to say goodbye. The trio entered Sang-gun’s dream and helped them say their goodbyes. Giving the couple some kind of closure.
Yeo-rin caught a shoplifter at the supermarket and after checking his bag, there was nothing in it. The man asked for an apology and asked her to kneel down. Before she could, Kang-bae stopped her and made the man confess with his ability. After seeing this, Yeo-rin agreed to be his dance partner.
Sang-gun packed his bag, ready to go to a nursing home but decidd to stop by for dumpling one more time at the mystic bar. They served him some shrimp dumplings which he loved but said he doesn’t remember why they gave him comfort. In the past, the crow prince went the the rendezvous to meet Wol-joo with a jade ring in hand but sh never showed up. She said her goodbyes to him from afar without him realizing saying, if fate really exist, they will surely be able to meet again and left. As she was leaving, a mysterious man watches her leave
That is where the episode ended. Once again, another episode another lesson that doesn’t feel like it’s been shoved down viewers throats.
