Wol-joo attacks a rotten system that’s thrown her latest customer into despair. Kang-bae meets an unusual woman.
This one hour episodes does not feel like it because the stories are so good that time just flies by. We start off this episode with wol-joo fetching water from the well in the afterlife after accepting her punishment at the end of the last episode. She is then joined by Chief Yeom, who introduced himself as sort of a liaison between her and the deities.
Kang-bae is having trouble bring people into the bar. The people he brings can’t benefit anything from the bar. We meet a man called Byeong-jae trying to get into sangil hotel but the security guard is refusing him entrance. He’s trying to get in to see HR to find out why he wasn’t hired? As the struggle was going on, the chairman (chairman Choi) arrived and he tried to talk to the chairman, only for the chairman’s bodyguard Kang Yeo-rin to tackle him down she did not look pleased with what she just did.
Sad, depressed and down, Byeong-jae gets a phone call from his girlfriend Yu-mi but he ignores it and made his way to Mystic bar. After ordering his food, he started crying and after been touched by Kang-bae, he tells them that he’s jobless and has been applying for a position in sangil hotel every year for three years but they never hired him. He’s been studying everyday and he can’t even afford to pay his rent. The money he gets from his part-time job is not enough to cover anything. He’s even embarrassed and ashamed to see his girlfriend because he can’t even afford to take her anywhere nice and that made him breakup with her, saying she deserves someone better. When he got home after breaking up with her, he found out that she had paid the three months house rent he was owing.
The trio decided to help him and wol-joo poured him the special drink. They went inside his dream and found out that not only did Byeong-jae did great in his written interview, He did amazingly in the face to face and the other guy beside him just gave random answers and he got hired. They also found out that he is the son of an assemblyman. Chairman Choi has been hiring people based on connections even tho the hotel is meant to be public enterprise. Since they can’t help Byeong-jae in his dream, they decided to help him in real life.
Wol-joo found chairman Choi where he’s having lunch and offers him the special drink which made him fall asleep. Meanwhile, Kang-bae and Chief Gwi went to the hotel with Chief Gwi wearing chairman Choi’s face. Wol-joo enters the chairman’s dream and tries to convince him that his office has been broken into so he can reveal where he hides his VIP list but he was woken up by Yeo-rin before he reveals it. She tells him his office had been broken into and the both ran to the hotel, only to find Chief Gwi in the chairman’s office. Chief Gwi distracts them and led them out of the office so Kang-bae could get out without been noticed but Yeo-rin saw his reflection and wrestles him to the ground. Surprisingly, although she’s touching Kang-bae, she didn’t tell him her problems like everyone else does.
After explaining to her why they had to get the USB stick containing the VIP list, she let him go and even gave him her security card so he could get out of the building. She lost her job because of that. The trio sent the USB to news station and after the news broke, chairman Choi and his friends talked about how to make it all go away. They didn’t realize that the room they are had been bugged. Wol-joo and Kang-bae released the video to the press and that was the end of chairman choi.
Byeong-jae was given his dream job at sangil hotel and finally took his girlfriend on the date he feels she deserves. Kang-bae tells Chief Gwi and Wol-joo about Yeo-rin and how he doen’t seem to have any effect on her and they chucked it up to her not having any worries. While working at the supermarket, Kang-bae encounters a difficult customer. The customer raised his hand to his Kang-bae but was stopped by someone who turned out to be Yeo-rin.
That’s where this episode ended. I like that this drama deals with important issues. They’ve been impressed with the writing and acting since episode 1 and i hope it continues like this.
